Meet the Designer
Ana E Ramirez
With more than two decades as a speck writer and technical designer for Quiksilver (a Huntington Beach based company and one of the largest sportswear manufacturers in the world) Ana Ramirez has developed a sharp eye and technique for garment design.
She first dove in to the specialized field of dancewear when her three year old niece Erin, required an ensemble for her first ballet recital. Ten years later and with hundreds of costumes to her credit while continually designing for The Fine Arts Academy of Dance in Diamond Bar California, she embarks in a new venture to bring her design and passion for dancewear to you. She launches the first web boutique for Little Steps Dancewear with a goal to offer quality yet affordable dance couture to the world stage.
Ana Ramirez currently resides in Orange County with her husband of 25 years and their family which includes one son, one daughter, and their first grandchild Sophia, a four years old who may soon enough be dawning on her first ballet slippers. When she is not designing she enjoys the Southern California life which includes boating with her husband, her biggest fan and avid fisherman.
